Who is Cenk Eroğlu?
Cenk Eroğlu was born in Istanbul in 1967 and is one of Türkiye's most successful guitarists, composers, arrangers and producers. It can be said that the artist, whose family has a deep-rooted musical history, has a traditional talent for music that has been passed down from generation to generation.
His grandfather Kemal Eroğlu opened the first private music school upon Atatürk's request. His father Ümit Eroğlu worked as an orchestra conductor and arranger after graduating from Ankara State Conservatory Piano Department. The successful artist lived abroad until the age of 7 due to his father's work.
The successful artist completed his primary, secondary and high school education at Ankara College and his undergraduate education at Bilkent University, Faculty of Music, Composition department in 1990. The artist not only has a successful music career, but also has a successful family life, unlike others in the market. The talented artist is married to Ebru (Bank) Eroğlu, the bass guitarist of Türkiye's first female rock band "VOLVOX", and has two children named Kemal Efe and Reis Ali. Music, which is a family tradition, was passed down from the genes of the successful artist to his children. All of the family of 4 are guitarists, and the eldest son, Kemal Efe, appeared on stage as a professional guitarist when he was only 13 years old and received great applause. His younger son, Reis Ali, proved his talent by starting to play chords when he was 2 years old.

The artist's goal with his 3rd solo album Xcarnation, which he started working on in 2000 and appealed to the whole world, was to integrate the synthesis of east and west with the heavy rock/electronic style. In this album, whose lyrics and music belong entirely to Cenk Eroğlu, the artist was supported by Pat Matelotto, Kip Winger, Rod Morgenstein and many ethnic musicians in Istanbul. The album Xcarnation was released in 2005 by the Muse Wrapped label.
